Basement Renovation in Grosse Pointe Shores MI

We love making old, dim storage areas into bright living spaces, and this was definitely one of them. This basement had suffered some flood damage in 2021 and needed a lot of updating. We removed the crumbling ceiling, installed plenty of recessed lighting, removed rotten wood panels, applied an epoxy floor, and updated the entire space with fresh paint, trim, and cabinetry. We even had enough paneling left over to wrap the new bar peninsula. The cherry on top was tearing out the nasty old bathroom and replacing it with one that is both stylish and easy to clean.
