This kitchen was in need of some cheer. One of the Ford Historic Homes in Dearborn, the house has a long history of quality craftsmanship and design. We aimed to integrate the home’s history with modern features by blending rustic accents and clean lines with modern appliances. We converted the breakfast nook into a coffee bar, enlarged the size of the peninsula to create an island effect, and incorporated top of the line appliances throughout. Bamboo flooring and recessed lighting helped bring the entire space together.
